A few things you may have missed yesterday
Rob and I will get specific about the game over the next couple of days, but I think everyone needs to watch Mike Patrick go US Weekly on us and Mike Gundy lay into a reporter who may or may not be related to Jeff Carroll.

mike gundy has a great idea, let's do it better
- he has identified the problem of con artists posing as members of the media and writing stories which they well know contain fraudulent information to inflate their own egos or to bash programs like nd, stanford, oklahoma, boston college, and many others that are trying to play with integrity with the specific intent of pushing recruits and players away from the schools trying to play with integrity to the renegade programs that are cheating.
- sure, notre dame has started 0-4 and legitimate journalists can write about that.
- however, the constant notre dame is racist diatribes and charlie weis lies to recruits stories posted by certain con artists at espn.com, at the sporting news, at sports illustrated, and at other media outlets do not qualify as journalism.
- like coach gundy, we got angry starting in 2002 and warned these individuals on many occasions. trev alberts did get fired from espn, but others remain.
- naturally, these con artists have a right to say anything they want if they are paying for it.
- however, they are getting paychecks and expenses and other perks from publicly traded companies in which many of us own shares for bashing nd and other programs and for touting renegade football programs.
- in the case of espn.com, the parent is disney. in the case of other media outlets, it is other companies in which we own shares. in addition, all of these media companies depend on advertising and other revenues from companies in which we also own shares.
- as shareholders, we have a right to take these con artists and the garbage stories that they have written and we have been printing out since 2002 and to demand that the boards of directors of all of the companies that have been, directly or indirectly, been conned into paying their salaries, expenses, and perks terminate them and get back all of the funds that these con artists have been stealing, along with large damages.
- if any of the boards of directors fail to take appropriate action, as shareholders, we have the right to bring shareholder derivatives actions directly on behalf of the companies, using the civil rico statute, among others.
- we also have the right to boycott these medias outlets and the companies which advertise with them.
- of course, we have to be certain that each of the jerks that we target really are con artists and not just honest people who have made mistakes for which they are willing to apologize.
13. since you mentioned stewart mandel as someone who needs to stop writing, he does meet the straight f test, along with ivan maisel, pat forde, joe schad (the jerk who posted the fraudulent stories about demetrius jones stating that he was leaving nd because charlie weis had lied to him), and quite a few others at espn.com. at the sporting news, there are matt hayes and tom dienhart. there are others who have left a trail of fraud and dishonesty at other media outlets.
while double d did eventually choose to play it honorably in leaving nd, his statement that there was no outside input from these jerks is simply not true.
but for kevin white and charlie, these con artists would have ruined double d's life and football career, as they have done with many others.
we are certain that double d will tell the truth under oath at his deposition and we wish him well, but not the jerks who put him up to what he did and promised him some things.
- obviously, these people can continue writing whatever they want. however, they cannot be stealing money from our companies to finance their hate and fraud mongering and they will have to pay a very steep economic price in the courts.
- in 2002, my friends and i got very angry, like mike gundy. then, we decided to collect the evidence and get even with the con artists posing as members of the media, with the crooked refs and those who have protected and rewarded them, with the crooks at the ncaa who penalized the oklahoma sooners for playing by the rules and self reporting rules violations while allowing reggie bush and the crooks at the usc football program to get way, so far, with a coverup documented by reporters at yahoo sports( the evidence is still available online if you put reggie bush in your search engine and pull up reggie bush investigation).
- how do schools that want to cheat and get away with it pay off the ncaa investigators indirectly? we have gathered the evidence and found out how that rotten system works. everyone who collects a salary and other benefits from the ncaa is getting that money indirectly from companies in which we own shares and can be forced to pay the economic damages in the same manner.
- if played with integrity and played by the same rules that apply to every school, with full transparency to the public, who are putting up the billions every year for spectator sports, college sports can play a crucial role in our society.
like it or not, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren do see the con artists like reggie bush getting away with cheating and being rewarded and have to be wondering why they should not do the same things, like the people who cooked the books at enron, mci worldcom, adelphia, aig insurance, and many other companies if they had not been punished.
of course, we are only interested in stripping these crooks of their economic assets and letting them try to survive on their own.
we have no interest in seeing any of these people put in jail since, if that happened, we would be stuck paying for their room and board.
- we know what has to be done in the courts. in the meantime, letters to each individual member of the boards of directors of the many companies that have been, and are still being ripped off, along with economic boycotts, will do wonders, along with a lot more of those youtube postings.
- charlie and his staff have done a fine job of recreating the nd recruiting network that lazy bob davie, now at espn, allowed to die on the vine.
- given the recruiting gaps, a bad start like 2007 was almost inevitable. the 2006 and 2007 classes, along with a few choice holdovers, have given nd talent and depth levels which nd has not had since the end of the holtz years.
- if charlie and his staff can hold on to the 2008 verbals and add to them,nd will be back to the talent and depth level that they have not had in decades, with future recruiting years getting better and inexperience not being a problem any more.
- naturally, the intent of this media assault by the crooked sportwriters and sportcasters is to break up that 2008 recruiting class and to drive current nd players away.
- we can help nd and the other schools playing integrity by exposing these con artists and putting them on the defensive. we know how to do that and we will. this is not just for notre dame. we are getting plenty of cooperation from some justifiably angry oklahoma sooners and from mike gundy, and plenty of other schools. after all, the renegade programs are a small, but very dangerous, minority.
