A Few Things

You already know this, but UCLA's starting quarterback, Southpaw Jesus Ben Olson, is out for 4-6 weeks with a MCL tear and will not be participating against the Fighting Irish next Saturday.  As Rob said, "Chalk them up for 300 yards passing instead of 450".

Speaking of the idiocy that plagues our defensive schemes at time - like, I don't know, blitzing the safety at the end of the half against Purdue - I think Charlie Weis should have Rick Minter come stand out in front of the press corps after every home game a la the Ol' Ball Coach.  I personally would enjoy the public dressing down every week.

Start of the position reviews and Maxwell Pundit voting coming this afternoon.
