I'm not sure if you all are aware of this, but we are less than two months away from the start of football season.  I'm sure you all have wonderful summer plans that you're really excited for, but if fingers could be snapped to make it just before the start of Gameday on September 4, I wouldn't be that upset. 

To help get everyone ready for football, EA Sports is sponsoring a series of posts leading up to the released of NCAA Football 2011.  I'm pretty sure about 90% of my knowledge of the X's and O's of football comes from the hundreds upon hundreds of hours I logged playing NCAA Football in high school and college, so I have an almost unhealthy respect for the game. 

Starting this morning, as you all recover from your Fourth of July hangovers, the first post will go up, an introduction to how you became a Notre Dame fan.  Each weekday leading up to July 13 will cover a different area of your fandom - favorite Notre Dame team, favorite player, tailgating traditions, memories, expectations for the season - with a post from me and the forum being opened up to all of you.
