This is why ND will never be able to field a great basketball program

It is not the academics or the coaching. Maybe not even the horseshit facilities. It is the administration’s sheer lack of desire to field a competitive program. This is disgusting. There is no reason for this. Embarrassing.

I wonder how this list compares to hardcore basketball schools...

Like Duke or Kansas or NC, or Kentucky

Dedicating my life to bankrupting HP, and running their name into the ground... FUCK HP!!!

Expenses for the basketball heavy schools…

Duke: $13,873,859
Kentucky: $8,615,726
Kansas: $8,219,362
UNC: $7,488,429

The more important numbers are the revenues generated by those schools from Men’s Basketball…

UNC: $19,852,544
Kentucky: $14,773,034
Duke: $11,842,009
Kansas: $11,842,009

And comparing them, you come up with the following profits (or losses) for the institutions..

UNC: $12,364,115
Kentucky: $6,157,308
Kansas: $3,622,647
Duke: -$2,031,850

For some reason, I feel like the Duke revenue numbers by the government are wrong, but that is what I have to go on.

Correction

Kansas Revenues are $15,737,145 so they end up with a profit of $7,517,783 good for second on that list of Basketball schools.

Duke still shows as a loss of over $2m.
