Looking for Glory in all the Wrong Places

After spending a little time looking through the fan postings here, I can't help but notice the lack of praise for the Notre Dame hockey program.

Star-divide

Sure it's easy to focus on the lackluster performance of the football team for oh, say, the last decade. The basketball team doesn't look like they're gonna make the tournament. But what about the hockey team? They played for the National Championship last year and are ranked #2 in the nation with the playoffs approaching this year. They've locked up the regular season conference title and many sports writers are picking them as this years champs.

If you're looking for the sports glory for the Fighting Irish promised those years ago by Ty Willingham's bright green shirts, I suggest you take a look at the boys of winter.

Hooray Hockey!

Really, I hope the Irish hockey team wins every single game they play, but I just like football and basketball more. Sorry.

I love ND hockey

I just wish it was on TV or ESPN actually covered college hockey. really makes me mad that we have college lacrosse, but not college hockey.

And Mason said to god, "May my clutch shots go in" And God said, "Yes. Yes they may my son"
