Notre Dame at Pittsburgh All Day Open Thread

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Pittsburgh Panthers, Nov 14, 2009 8:00 PM EST

Pick a result - any result - and I'm pretty sure you could convince an Irish fan it was possible.  The only thing I'm pretty sure of is a lot of points are going to be scored, meaning look for a 10-7 game late in the fourth.  I'll be down at Heinz Field in Section 214 to witness a great win or the end of the Charlie Weis Era in person, so say hey if you see the guy in the classy, white St. Michael #3 jersey.

Go Irish, Beat Panthers.

Hey guys, I’m new in here but I love the irish I am from Pittsburgh so I will be down in section 219 to cheer on Clausen and the boys. I hope we can get a win after that loss last week, I predict a high scoring affair and should get my moneys worth. Irish 38 Pitt 24

that was not a fumble

We put ourselves in this position by not playing well earlier, and I doubt we could’ve converted on 4th and 16, but you hate to see the game end on a terrible call.

That was a terrible, completely terrible bullshit call

I mean, you can’t really blame the refs ever… because you shouldn’t need good calls to win… But holy crap that was a terrible god awful call, there is NO WAY that was a fumble… how do you move a ball 15 yards forward while your arm is moving backwards?

Gayrish

Charlie Weis is a fat piece of……well, you all know. For christ’s sake can we get a coach that IS in shape??? How can you respect someone that doesn’t even have respect for their own body. Shame on Charlie Weis and shame on Notre Dame for forking out millions of dollars a year to have him as their coach. Hell, we can’t even beat Navy anymore. They beat us 2 out of the last 3 years. Shame on Notre Dame. I’m seriously thinking of rooting for a good school like Penn State. Go Nittany Lions!
