As Cold As Ice in OT: Irish Fall to Louisville 87-73

Heart-breaking loss for the Irish tonight in Kentucky.  Solid efforts by Harangody and K-Mac, rough nights for Tory and Zeller.  Link here.

Difficult way to start the Month from Hell, but our lack of depth was really exposed tonight.  Time to get Nash and maybe even Scott some minutes.  Harangody can't play 45 minutes a night.

More big games to come and with recruiting season winding down it's an exciting time to follow the Irish.

More importantly

Is the fact there’s nobody on the bench that can dribble. Sigh.

It may be Harangody’s team, but that doesn’t mean it should be a won man show. But it does feel like we were deeper last year, or maybe we were just better early and faded late? It dissapionted me that we were out of the tourny so fast, as is losing four games already this season. But maybe they can learn and get better. I’d sacrifice some early season and mid season loses for a final four.

Take care of the little things, and the big things will take care of themselves.
