For the record,

I’m between “Money” and “Minnesota Slim,” but I think we’re going to have to keep trying.

Mike Floyd's nickname

I think his nickname should be Mike “Tigger” Floyd, since he springs up like TIgger and catches the ball.

MF's nickname

Keep it simple and relative. My brothers and I have already deemed him “The Saint”.

Not to go off topic, but

I thought you guys would be interested in reading this:

If you watch some of Charlie’s press conferences from the past week, when he talks about Yeatman and the tight ends, he’s very evasive.

After the drunk driving incident, Weis quickly suspended Yeatman. However, after the recent raid at the party, the line has been, “Let’s wait to see how this is resolved with the SBPD…” Meanwhile, Yeatman has continued to practice with the team.

I think your blog could be right on the money. Arrested does not equal guilty and if Yeatman is acquitted, I’d bet that he’ll be back on the team soon.

Mike "Pink Slip" Floyd

Because that’s what will be handed out to whoever tries to cover him – players or coaches.

Diamond...

just like anoter prodiy in Europe, Alexander Pato of A.C Milan. He’s a diamond in the rough, a wide humble wide receiver. Ya? When’s the last time you’ve seen a humble wide receiver? DIAMOND!!!!!! It doesn’t rhyme but hey, not all good names have to rhyme.

Fighter Jet?

We have had both Jerome “The Bus” Bettis and “The Rocket” Ismail. So in keeping with the theme of transportation, I suggest Mike “Fighter Jet” Floyd?

Floyd

How about Manchild Michael Floyd or Michael the Manchild? Seems to fit his story of working as a kid to pay for high school and showing up ready to work on his first day at ND. He’s mature beyond his years.
