Game Two, Or The Revenge of Yakety Sax

Michigan Wolverines at Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Sep 13, 2008 3:30 PM EDT

There's no a lot left to say at this point.  The Irish have been embarrassed by the Wolverines the last two years ahd have the chance to start the season 2-0 under Weis for the third time in his four years at Notre Dame.  Follow along in the fancy, shiny comments.

Golden Tate

Admittedly, I don’t have a chance to really watch the game (being abroad sucks during football season).

So, question, while I follow along on ESPN Gamecast.

Who is Golden Tate?? Was his recruitment as obvious as his name suggests??

Seems like he was born to play (and graduate from) ND.

Oh, and we are up on Michigan. Go Irish.

Tate

was a top 100 recruit in last year’s class. he caught two long TD passes at Purdue, but apparently had problems with route-running and was basically unheard of for the entire rest of the season.

nice win.
just like hockey (clap, clap, clapclapclap)…

Well, I hope this is the start of his rise.

I would love to keep reading more about the Golden-Clausen connection.

Golden is the Golden Boy under the Golden Dome.

That is a phrase I wouldn’t mind seeing for a few weeks.

Go Irish.
