Notre Dame Men's Basketball Big East Opponents Announced; Irish to Face Cardinals, Huskies, Red Storm Twice

The Big East decided to use the most awkward, poorly formatted chart of all-time to give the information, but it breaks down to this if I'm reading it correctly:

Attempting to break up the Irish's two year old home win streak will be Connecticut, Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, South Florida and Villanova.  Attempting to prolong some of the road troubles Mike Brey has had the last few seasons will be Cincinnati, Connecticut, DePaul, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Providence, St. John's, Syracuse and West Virginia.  That means the Irish will be playing the Huskies, Cardinals and Red Storm twice, which is tough, but not beyond what the other Big East title contenders will be dealing with (Louisville gets Notre Dame, South Florida and West Virginia; UConn has Notre Dame, Pitt and Seton Hall).
