Linkapalooza: Early Information In the Notre Dame Athletic Director Search

The internet is obviously buzzing about Kevin White's departure, some of it quality (BGS has some obviously good stuff , because that's what they do) and some of it quite bad bad (Gene Wojciechowski has a column up on it, and I'm not going to read it or link it because it'll just make us all angry; there's no way it doesn't).  As Rob posted over the weekend, Missy Conboy will be taking care of things in the interim, and most Irish fans are pretty pleased with that choice (story on Conroy at UND.com worth checking out  as well as her official bio ).

There are certainly standards we can all agree we want in the new AD (Rock Report outlines a few ), but what about candidates?  There were a few names tossed around over the weekend , all of Irish alums, and then some totally unconfirmed rumors of a list released by Father Jenkins (I'll link to it because I have low standards, but who the hell knows the level of truth here).  CBS Sportsline also had a few names in their initial piece on White leaving, but this is most likely going to be a long, fairly interesting process.  Rob is far more in tune with the Notre Dame community as a whole than I am, but as any big names pop up, we'll be sure and try to get those updates to you.

(On a completely unrelated, but totally awesome note, you can now see the Stadium in 3D any time you wish.  Check it out .)
