Irish burn Warriors: Notre Dame 49, Hawaii 21
A long way to go, but a good win for a program that desperately needed it.

I snuck out to the Christmas tree when my wife wasn't looking....
and found an ND bowl win wrapped up for me.
What a thoughtful Christmas gift. I loved it.
IF IT TAKES FOREVER!!

Now if we can carry that into next season
I’ll be satisfied. We may have ended the bowl streak, and finished with a winning record, but we need to carry this game’s victory into next year. Hopefully this win convinced Te’o to come to ND instead of his homestate Hawaii. For those who don’t know, Te’o is the #2 LB prospect in the country and is debating between Hawaii, ND, and I think USC (there was one more but I can’t remember) ND and Hawaii are his frontrunners and after watching ND mop the floor with Hawaii, are chances at scoring him are much better.

i think SC is actually the front-runner
and he’s reportedly been an SC-lean for awhile. certainly that bowl performance must’ve helped ND’s chances.
it feels good to go into the offseason with something positive for the first time in a very long time.

thanks for the Te'o update
if he would come here, we would have a LOT of much-needed athleticism on defense.
