I'm outraged, no Michigan?

I heard earlier, and I'm not sure if it was previously posted on here, that Notre Dame and Michigan are dropping their game for two seasons. Notre Dame is going to pick up Oklahoma for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

If I get into Notre Dame (and I damn well will be there one day, maybe not at first, but I'm getting there), that means no Michigan for my sophomore and junior year!

WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?

I may be different than you guys, but I was taught to HATE MICHIGAN! My dad went to Ohio State and my mom at ND, but my mom was the one who taught me to hate Michigan. This seems to make these two football seasons empty for me, because there is little chance to beat Michigan! Well, there's still the OSU/Michigan game for me. But you? Alright, sure, you all would probably rather beat USC than Michigan, but this is my chance to complain. I look forward every year to beating Michigan. It's what really gets me into football early. I need this game.

End rant.

Hey, I don't disagree...
While USC is our clear rival, the Michigan game is right there as far as great weekends.  The short distance between campuses mean you get infestations by the visitor, and I'll never forget waking up my freshman year on the first football Saturday, stumbling outside and being met with a mix of green, maize and blue milling about on South Quad far earlier than anyone should be up.

The fact we had to drop Michigan is a shame, but you just got yourself one sweet home game against the Sooners and what could be an enjoyable roadtrip to Norman.  Of course, there's absolutely no reason White shouldn't have been able to keep Michigan on the schedule and lock up Stoopsies, but that's why we're trying to get him fired for his incompetence.

Michigan is a pest
They're not our main rival, in fact we haven't played them all that much.  The past 10 years or so, we've had a good series going, but there has definitely been periods when we don't play them.

I'd be pissed if we were replacing Michigan with Washington State, but we're replacing them with Oklahoma.  It should be a great series.

I, for one, will be happy not to play those a-holes.
